    Job Description:
    We are looking for an individual to join the development team who can help develop new products as well as expand the reporting and business intelligence part of our solution. As a member of the development team, you will work with the product owner and other team members to design and implement new products and features. This includes brainstorming to find the best solution for a problem, the best way for a product’s UI to flow, and the most flexible way to give a user access to relevant data.

    Qualifications:
    • 3+ years experience with either Java/J2EE or C#/.Net.
    • 3+ years using SQL Server 2000 or 2005, MCDBA or MCSE equivalent a preferred.
    • Familiarity with reporting and business intelligence products, specifically Reporting Services
    • Experience with Analysis Services preferred.

    Job Description:
    As the primary leader of our client engagements, the Engagement Manager is responsible for the successful implementation of Acorn Systems’ Enterprise Profit System (EPS) and ultimately our client’s success in achieving ROI. The successful Engagement Manager must understand all aspects of our software, best practices costing/profit improvement methodologies and implementation processes, excel at leading client engagement projects and be able to quickly understand our clients' business issues at a detailed level. He/She will be expected to do a full profitability analysis on our client’s operations, produce innovative and insightful recommendations that will increase client profitability and communicate these at the Board of Directors and CXO level. It is imperative that they have the leadership skills to demonstrate value in order for the client to move forward in a continuing business relationship with Acorn. Through their client engagements the successful Engagement Manager will also develop expertise in all of the components of a successful business.     Qualifications:
    • Minimum 7-10 years of related experience
    • Expert level knowledge of cost accounting, Activity Based Costing/Management and business process diagramming/modeling is a requirement
    • Experience in leading large Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation projects for Fortune 500 clients
    • Functional expertise in at least one of the following: distribution, financial services, CPG, retail or public sector
    • An understanding of current technology and its application. Basic SQL query ability is a plus
    • Must be willing to travel a 50% or more
    • Excellent relationship, leadership, project management, problem solving / analytical skills as well as verbal communication and documentation skills are a must. PMI certification is a plus

    The Business Analyst Consultant assists the Engagement Manager in the overall design and build of the client’s business model using Acorn Systems’ Enterprise Profit System (EPS) as well as the analysis of the model results. This includes performing operational manager interviews, defining the algorithms that will be used to model departmental processes, validating calculation results and training client personnel in the use and maintenance of their model. The most challenging and rewarding aspect of the successful Business Analyst’s role is in the analysis of the model results and identification of profit improvement opportunities.

    Qualifications:
    • Minimum 3-5 years of related experience
    • Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and attention to detail
    • Knowledge of cost accounting, Activity Based Costing/Management and business process modeling is a requirement
    • Prior project experience in an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation for a Fortune 1000 client is desired
    • Prior light project management experience is a plus
    • Familiarity with SQL is a requirement

    Job Description:
    The Technical Software Consultant provides technical assistance in all stages during the implementation of Acorn Systems’ Enterprise Profit System (EPS). Primarily responsible for the design and development of the processes used to integrate client financial systems to EPS that are scalable and maintainable. In order to accomplish this, experience in developing Extract Transformation and Load (ETL) processes as well as experience in a variety of ETL tools, are required. Other project tasks include the installation of the EPS software, database sizing, security requirements, training client technical administration personnel, performance tuning and any technical support that may be required throughout the project.

    Qualifications:
    • Intermediate-level knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Data Transformation Services (DTS) and Transact-SQL
    • Intermediate-level background SQL Server Database Administration (DBA) skills including performance tuning, security, backup/recovery. Clustering, replication and parallelism is a plus.
    • Experience in ETL process design and development that is scalable and maintainable
    • Some technical familiarity with other relevant core technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, IIS).
    • Actuate/Microsoft Reporting Services and reporting application development skills are a plus
    • OLAP experience/Cognos reporting is a plus
    • Some understanding of cost accounting and experience in financial applications is a plus
    • Minimum 2-3 years of related experience
