NxTrend and Acorn Systems Establish Partnership

Wayne, PA — March 19, 2001 — Acorn Systems, Inc. has entered into an agreement to partner with NxTrend Technology, Inc., a leading supplier of enterprise-wide software solutions for supply-chain management, in which each company will assist the other in qualified prospect identification.

The agreement with NxTrend is one in which NxTrend will introduce Acorn into their account base as a value added complement to their ERP offering. Acorn's Enterprise Profit System will work seamlessly via the interface to NxTrend's Sx Intelligence Data Warehouse application. Acorn's view of a business from the operating profit perspective will enhance and complement the full-suite of offerings from NxTrend.
